If fifteen quarts of water evaporate from sixty quarts of a 3% salt solution, what is the concentration of the new solution?

A. 3.5%
B. 4%
C. 4.5%
D. 5%
E. 6%

3% of 60 is 1.8

15 quarts of water evaporates, so we are left with 45 quarts

1.8/45=4/100=4%

Answer is B
