From I if k = 2 remainder = 1 if k = 3 remainder = 2 not suff


Fom II K = any value the result is odd so the remainder is always 1

Answer = B

from 1 the remainder would have variable values. So not sufficient

But from 2 the remainder is always 1.

So B it is

I goofed up on this one :(

Instead of using power, I started using multiples of 2.

Even simple questions can be tricky sometimes :)

The remainder from statement 2 is always 1 hence B
