St1: Factors of 56 = 1 ,2, 4, 7 ,8 ,14,28,56 Only odd number are 1 , 7 So 1 is not suff.
St2:14 is a factor of 2n
n=1 , 14 is factor of 14 n=2 , 14 is factor of 28 n=3 , 14 is factor of 42 n=7 , 14 is factor of 84
so b is not suff. (1,3,7)
more over A + B:(1,7) not sufficient

1) n is a factor of 56 2) 14 is a factor of 2n 1) answers since 7 is the only odd factor 2)does not answer since n can be any multiple of 14 or 7 hence IMO A

For me Only 1st is suffiecent. If n is odd integer graeter than 1 and n is factor of 56 than only value of n satisfy is 7.
2nd Equation, lets assume n = 21 than 2n = 42 and 14 is a factpor of 42. But n=21 is not a prime number. So 2nd doesnot conclude the question.
So Answer should be A)

1) n is a factor of 56 2) 14 is a factor of 2n from 1 56 = 2^2*7......the only odd > 1 in this factorisation is 7........suff from 2 2n = 14 thus n is in the form 7x , we have no idea about x .........insuff A is my answer
