If q workers can paint a house in d days, how many days will it take q+2 workers to paint the same house, assuming all workers paint at the same rate ?

A. d+2

B. d-2

C. q+2 / qd

D. qd / q+2

E. (qd + 2d) / q

Is it D....

q workers * d days = Complete Work


q+2 workers * X days = Complete Work..

q workers * d days = q+2 workers * X days

X = qd/q+2
