What do you mean by r2 and s2?
r * 2 or square(r), same for s?

I guess you just have to test the answer choices, starting with the choices that are easier to test.

If you substitute p with 1/5q, r^2 will equal s^2.

if r^2 = s^2 then r= +-s or s = +-r
so (3p+q)/2 = p-q or q-p

you can get p = 3q or p = q/4
I will go with 3q

The official asnwer is A . I guess ndidi's approach is right.

I thought r = (3p+q)/2 instead of 3p+q/2
sorry about that. I still could not verify ndidi204's answer. I hope he/she explains it.
