SUPPOSE r = 30
PRIME FACTORS = 2, 3, and 5

SUPPOSE s = 120
PRIME FACTORS = 2, 3, and 5

but r is not divisible by s or r/s is not an integer.
so A.

what we apply the same logice to 2nd statement

s=40-2*2*2*5
prime factors=2&5

r=100=2*2*5*
prime facotrs 2 & 5

still r/s is not an integer
hence both a & b are not sufficient so answer is E

Except that A is actually sufficient.

From your example given it doesnt look like r/s is an integer and hence answer should be A?? Can you please confirm ....

From st1 does that mean if there are two 2's in r then there should be two 2's in s as well?

Every factor of s is also a factor of r doesn't imply that they should be prime factors

The number 120 has the following factors
1 120
2 60
3 40
4 30
5 24
6 20
8 15
12 10
The number 30 has the following factors
1 30
2 15
3 10
5 6

In statement 1 , if every factor of s is also a factor of r, that means either r and s are one and same integer or that
s<r
Ex s =2;r=4. Every factor of 2 is also a factor of 4
