My answer is A.

(1) Sufficient.
(2) For example, 21/42 = (1*3*7)/(1*3*7*2) = 1/2. Insufficient

If s and r are positive integer is r/s an integer ?

1) every factor of s is also a factor of r

2) Every prime number factor of s is also a prime factor of r

**************************************************

1)

r = sa (a is a positive integer)

r/s = sa/s = a

Sufficient

2)

suppose s = 2 * 3 and r = 2 * 3 * 4

r/s 1/4

Insufficient
