I will go with A.

St1: w-z>2

This is correct in any situation.
if we assue w as a first and z is last then range is w-z which greater than 2.
Similarly if z is the second and w is the first then range will again more than 2 even if other number are equal to z or greater than z.
Same with w is third and z is last , the range is again greater than 2.

So, A is sufficient.

Due to nowhere in the text says that w is the last. Furthermore, you should not assume that the set is arranged in the increasing order

My initital answer was E, but I was wrong.
OA is A

I agree with Twoone, I tried a few numbers

w= 5
x = 3
y = 1
z = 2

w= 10
x = 7
y = 7
z = 7

w= -10
x = -2
y = -7
z = -7

Must be A.

Range is difference between max and min value.
when w-z>2 it doesn't matter whether w and z are max and min values.or middle numbers.... because difference between max and min always >2 ... so range >2
