(A) The arts of life have no useful end.
(B) The artificial is not better than the natural.
(C) Digging, plowing, building, and wearing clothes are better than nature.
(D) The injunction to follow nature should not be violated.
(E) The arts of life are indirect means of following nature.

I was down to C & E and chose E. Negation rule does not seem to work. The reason why I left out C is it makes a comparison of activities to nature directly rather than injunction to follow nature. I also tried to arrive at an answer using the logical gap but got closer to E.

What is the conclusion?

D,P etc are all direct violations of injunction to follow nature

(or)

Artificial is better than natural

I guess its the latter
