If the average (arithmetic mean) of six numbers is 75, how many of the numbers are equal to 75 ?
(1) None of the six numbers is less than 75.
(2) None of the six numbers is greater than 75

whats the best way to select numbers here ?

I think D.

Say all number are (75+a, 75+b, 75+c, 75+d, 75+e, 75+f)

St1: This means a+b+c+d+e+f = 0 where all of them are greater than equal to zero. Only possible when all are zero. So all six number should be 75. SUFF

St2: This means a+b+c+d+e+f = 0 where all of them are less than equal to zero. Only possible when all are zero. So all six number should be 75. SUFF

I. If none of the numbers is less than 75, none of the numbers can be greater than 75 to counter balance the additional value...SUFF.

II. Converse of I...SUFF.
