If the remainder is 2 when x is divided by 5, then is x divisible by 7?
(1) x is a prime number

(2) x+3 is a multiple of 10

If the remainder is 2 when x is divided by 5
=> x = 5t + 2

STAT1: x is prime
possible values of x are 2,7,12,17
2 is NOT divisible by 7
7 is divisible by 7
so, INSUFFICIENT

STAT2: x+3 is a multiple of 10
Possible values of x are 7, 17,27
7 is divisible by 7
17 is not divisible by 7
SO NOT SUFFICIENT.

Taking both the cases together we still have the possibility of x = 7,17

SO combined also NOT SUFFICIENT.

Hence, Answer is E
