1. x \lt 3

well if x is a POSITIVE ingeter then it has to be >0
1)
x<3 which means x=1 or 2..

either way sqrt(x)>2.5x-5 so suff

11)
if x=2 then sqrt(2)>0 however if x=7 then 35/2=34.5-5=29.5 > sqrt(7) insuff

A it is.

(1) x<3,
at x=1,\sqrt{x} \gt 2.5x - 5
at x=2,\sqrt{x} \gt 2.5x - 5
hence answers SUFFI

(2)x=2,3,5,7,etc
at x=2 \sqrt{x} \gt 2.5x - 5
at x=3,\sqrt{x} \lt 2.5x - 5
hence insoncsistent soln!! INSUFFI

IMO A
whats the OA?
