1. on the number line, z is closer to 10 than it is to x
2. z=5x

1. The average of X and 10 is the midpoint between the two numbers. If Z is closer to 10 then to X it is larger than the average of X and 10.
SUFFICIENT

2. z=5x

for 1 x=5
(1+10)/2 = 5.5
x<5>6

INSUFFICIENT
