If X is an integer, is X even?

1) aX is even, where a is an integer.
2) sq(X)-1 is an odd integer.

this one is very easy. But stuck in a basic concept,

are -2,-4 even integers?

1) aX is even, where a is an integer.
2) sq(X)-1 is an odd integer.

this one is very easy. But stuck in a basic concept

from one a or x is even ............insuff

from two

sq x is even intiger thus x is a perfect square even intiger,,,,,,,,,,,suff

my answer is B
