x is equal to the sum of the integers from 30 to 50

=> x = (30 + 50)/2 * # of integers between 30 and 50 (inclusive)

# of integers between 30 and 50 (inclusive) = (50-30) + 1 = 21

=> x = 80/2 * 21 = 40 * 21 = 840

y is the number of even integers from 30 to 50

=> y = (50-30)/2 + 1 = 10 + 1 = 11

=> x + y = 840 + 11 = 851

Answer - E
