1) X = 8

2) Y = -20

All the usual options in Data Sufficiency. Please explain.

I will go with D...

If x - y > 10...and x = 8

then 8 - y > 10...so y < -2 so x - y > x + y...suffi.

If x - y > 10 ... and y = -20

then x - (-20) > 10...so x > -10 so x - y > x + y...suffi.

8-Y > 10
8-10 > y

from ii, y = -20. 2(-20) is <0. suff...
