Ok. I plugged in x=5 y=3 so 5-2(3)=5-6=-1 therefor z=1

a. (5-3)/1=2

b. (5+3)/1=8

i get A. Can you please explain?

None of the options equal to 2 if x=2, y=4 and z=6. Can you please check the question?

after re-arranging the variables, 2 should be = (x+z)/(y)
