If x, y, z are integers greater than 1, what is the value of x+y+z?

(1) xyz = 70

(2) x/(yz) = 7/10

70= 2 * 5 *7 .... there is no other possible combination for integer value.

so xyz = 2*5*7

x+y+z =.14

A is suff.

B isnot suff.

7/10 , 14,20.21/30............all gives us ratio of 7/10..

from 1

70 = 7*5*2 ...............suff

from 2

x/yz = 7/10

10x = 7yz......

yz has to be a multiple of 10 and x is a multiple of 7

thus yz could be 20 and thus x = 14

or yz = 10 thus x = 7 ...........insuff

A is my answer

Even I go for A. Whats the OA ? Can you please tell me the source Tarek ?? . I need more such problems urgently, my exam is approaching in less than 2 weeks.

statement (1) sufficient

70 = 2*5*7

the answer is (A)
