If X2>1 {X2 being X squarred}

Then X> +/- 1
Isn't it?
Or is it X>1 and X<-1??

x^2>1 --> x<-1 or x>1. You can look at this in another way: x^2>1 is the same as |x|>1 --> x<-1 or x>1.
