The UIUC is one of the best public universities in the Midwest of the US and has a highly regarded engineering program. The university has over 40,000 students and is located within 170 miles of three major cities (Indianapolis, Chicago, and St. Louis).
The College of Business offers programs on many levels from undergraduate to MBA, Executive MBA, a wide array of specialty masters, and the PhD program.
The standard MBA program is small, enrolling only about 100 new students each year. While the MBA program is small, the College of Business is large and supports thousands of students.
The center of the distribution is roughly 650/3.4
The majority of students are placed in the Midwest. The dominant placement fields are finance, marketing, and general management.
Major Competitors in the region include the University of Iowa, the University of Wisconsin, Purdue, and Indiana University.
