How feasible is it go get an admission in R4? Would you guys advise to apply in R4 and R5?

In the info sessions I have attended, IMD has repeatedly stated that they accept applicants in all rounds. IMHO, I would think that whether you should apply depends on your profile and whether you think there are other applicants with a similar profile. As previously stated on this board, it seems that IMD has already admitted a number of Indian citizens, so if you are Indian, it might be a challenge to get accepted in the last rounds. There are also some Visa issues to consider depending on what your nationality is, it may be too late to apply in R5. Good luck!! =)

In a nutshell: - I'm 30. That's the par within IMD whereas it'd make me one of the oldies at LBS
- I intend to continue in the industry (I could extend on this point, because I have strong views on the "industry vs consulting vs finance" flavours of MBA programme): IMD is clearly focused on the industry.
- IMD has a stronger focus on personal development.
- IMD is "only" 11 month-long. As I'll be leaving my wife behind, it's much more liveable than 15 to 21 months of absence.
- Cost-wise, they are roughly equivalent if you only look at the programme alone, but IMD's programme allows me to earn an additional 5 months of salary and to avoid spending an additional 5 months of rent. That makes quite a difference
 When looking more in depth, there were also more costs included in IMD's fees than LBS (incl. the lunch) - A friend of mine (of my age) is doing the executive MBA at LBS. That alone strikes me as odd (it seems a bit young, or conversely it shows I should have applied to the executive programme). I also heard several comments regarding the relative amount of free time left, and I'm definitely not spending that much money to have breaks / free time. IMD on the other hand is more like a "boot camp": it's short but it's intense.
- I haven't ascertained to what extent LBS's good stats derive from graduates going to do finance in the City (which I do not want to do). So I haven't been able to estimate what would be LBS graduates' stats if you only take them for those going to the industry, and so I decided to take no account about their good stats (salary increase, etc...)
- IMD's restaurant is outstanding. (Some/many will laugh at this reason, but I know a good meal can make wonders in many aspects)
I could also make a similar list of counter-reasons which make LBS better than IMD, and it is roughly as long. At the end of the day, I felt more aligned with IMD's spirit than LBS's: slightly more mature, more focused,...

the restaurant IS great!! at the campus visit I attended, we all agreed that that alone is good enough reason to apply =)
