Impact of global economy on the number of MBA applications [#permalink] New post 03 Sep 2011, 12:14
Guys,
We all know how bad is the outlook of the US and EU economies at the moment.
Lots of economists are talking about double-dip scenarios in 2012.

I read before that normally recessions rise the number of MBA applications but this time the economy doesn't seem to rebound in the 2-year course of MBA period.

With this weak outlook leaving a safe, well-paying job and investing around 150-200K in business school may not sound as wise as it was before.

What do you think about the number of MBA applications this year?
A rise or a fall?
