1) The greatest department is more than 2.1 billion

assuming that the "least department" means the department with least profits, agree on B

It is B because the lowest earner makes 1.7B and 3*1.7=5.1

If the lowest earner makes 1.7 we know that the other division have to make at least 1.70000000000000000000000001 billion which means you can multiply 1.7 by 3 and know that the company makes at least that much.

Actually, the answer might well be E, because the profits are from three departments, but there could be other departments that are not profitable, and the total profit then is not the sum of profits of these three profitable departments, but sum of these - the losses made by the non profitable departments.
