If the percent of tagged fish in the second catch approximates the percent of tagged fish in the pond, what is the approximate number of fish in the pond?

(C) in about 15 seconds if you know the trick.
Use a ratio expression and solve for X: ---> 2/50=50/X ---> 2X=2500 ---> X=1250

2/50 == 50/X where X is the total Number of Fish
Solving, we get: X = 1250!
