0.72x+0.28x+0.8y+0.2y = n

x/n = ?

statement 1

0.72x+0.28x+0.8y+0.2y = 840

insufficient

statement 2

0.72x+0.8y = 0.75n

so

0.28x+0.2y = 0.25n

solve:

1.12x+0.8y = n
0.72x+0.8y = 0.75n

0.4x = 0.25n

1.6x = n

1.12x+0.8y = 1.6x

x/n = x/1.6x = 5/8

the answer is (B)
