In a certain store, they sell regular sized detergent and family sized detergent. The amount of family sized detergent is 2 and a half times bigger than that of regular sized detergent. Is the price of regular sized detergent per ounce is higher than the price of family sized detergent per ounce?

2) The price of regular sized detergent per ounce is $0.05

We don`t know anything about the price of the family sized detergeant, either per ounce or as a total.

We are given the sizes, and we need to find the price of one in relation to the other. Therefore, we go to the choices

A - the price is 2.4 for regular. How about the family size? ---> insuff

B - price per oz is .05 No real info here ---> insuff

Together, there is still no exact raltionship given between the family size and regular.

therefore, the ans is E.
