In a cooking club, there are only Danes, Swedes, Poles and Finns. If the ratio of Danes to Swedes is 7:1 and the ratio of Poles to Finns is 8:3, how many members does the club have?

(1) There are fewer than 150 members in the club, and the total number of Danes and Swedes is twice the total number of Poles and Finns.
(2) There are between 60 and 100 Danes in the club and the difference between the number of Finns and the number of Swedes is 1.

I got A

D:S = 7:1
P:F = 8:3

St1: (D+S) = 2(P+F)
This is possible only if
(D+S) = 88 and (P+F) = 44
(D+S) = 176 and (P+F) = 88 and so on....
Beause total number of members are less than 150 so answer is 132.: SUFF

St2: Because D is between 60 and 100. Only possible combinations are

D------S----------F----------P
63-----9-------8 or 10-----Not integer in both cases
70-----10------9 or 11-----24 or non integer-----------Total = 120
77-----11------10 or 12----non integer or 32-----------Total = 132
84-----12------11 or 13----Not integer in both cases
91-----13------12 or 14----32 or non integer-----------Total = 148
98-----14------13 or 15----non integer or 40-----------Total = 167

So INSUFF
