In 1 hr, there are 12 no of 5 minutes. Each 5 minute 30 people. So 1 hr 360 people. There are 9 hrs between 9.00 am and 5.55pm . Therefore total no of people = 360*9 = 3240.
Children = X
Adult = 2X
x + 2X = 3240
X = 1080

Children = 1080
Adults = 2160.
Revenue = (1080 * 6) + (2160 * 10) = 28080

Could you provide the answer choices for this?

It looks like there i some inconsistencies unless I am missing something..

30 people enter every 5 min

9.00 to 5.55 = 8 hours and 55 min= 480+55=535 minutes ie 107 5min interval

now a=3c
so 3c+c=107*30=3210
here is the problem you will not get c as an abolute figure... and we expect it to be the number of children.

From 9:00 till 9:55 => 12 intervals
From 10:00 till 10:55 => 12 intervals
From 11:00 till 11:55 => 12 intervals
From 12:00 till 12:55 => 12 intervals
From 13:00 till 13:55 => 12 intervals
From 14:00 till 14:55 => 12 intervals
From 15:00 till 15:55 => 12 intervals
From 16:00 till 16:55 => 12 intervals
From 17:00 till 17:55 => 12 intervals
-------------------------------------------
From 9:00 till 17:55 => 108 intervals

108 intervals * 30 people = total of 3,240 people

3,240 people = 2,430 adults + 810 children

2,430 adults * $10 = $24,300

810 children * $6 = $4,860

$24,300 + $4,860 = $29,160

The OA is $29,160.

Oh no.. I read the question as no of adults is twice the no of children. It is actually 3 times. Otherwise I would have go the answer :wall

I am really worried about my carelessness
