E.

18 => green/red
19 => yello if 18th is green/do not know what if 18th is red.

so what follows red? could be red or anything else. do not know. so E.

Any color can start at Tile 1 so GYR, YRG or RGY is the correct color order because it meets the condition.

1. 18th tile NOT yellow, so either red or green

Insuff.

2. 19th tile NOT green, so either yellow or red

Insuff.

1. + 2.

Combinig together,

1. Tile 18th = Either red or green but from statement 2 we can eliminate RED because GREEN needs to be the next tile. So it must be GREEN.

2. Tile 19th = Either Red or Yellow. We know it cannot be red because according to the order: GYR, tile 19th must be YELLOW.

18=G
19=Y
20=R
21=G
22=Y
23=R
24=G

So C is the answer.

Another vote for E,

1 statement leaves 2 choices, second also.

together also insuff since guessing 18 tile will leave 2 possible tile colors for 19 th one.

GYR is the initial order.

S1: 18th is not yellow so its either G or Yellow. Insuff. We can't determine what the 24th tile is from this.

S2: 19th is either R or Y. Insuff. we can't determine the 24th from this.

1&2: it could be GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGYRGGGG Could be Green.

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGYRGGYR Insuff.

There is no constraint for G. I.E. nothing has to precede the green tile.

E.
