c) 80.
d) 48.

2C1*4C1*(7+3)C1 = 2*4*10 =80.

Its 4C1 (One Bed) * 2C1 (1 Shelf) * 10C2 (One chair or closet) = 80

Possibilites: 1 shelf, 1 bed, 1 char or 1 shelf, 1 bed, 1 closet

Case 1: 1 shelf, 1 bed, 1 chair
# of ways = 2 * 4 * 7 = 56

Case 2: 1 shelf, 1 bed, 1 closet
# of ways = 2 * 4 * 3 = 24

Total = 80

Solution:

No. beds*No. shelves*(no chairs+no. closets)

4*2*(7+3)=80

Bed 4
Closets 3
Shelves 2
Chairs 7

One Shelf = 2c1 = 2
One Bed = 4c1= 4
One closets or chairs = 10c1 = 10

total 2*4*10 = 80
