The general rule is
one of NOUN (this noun will always be plural) + PLURAL VERB
In the sentence that you have mentioned
"seek" is the correct verb.

Well I did visit testmagic.com quite some time back. Went through all the posts and have some collection of general rules ( general rules posted by the GURU Erin Billy. I will post them in couple of days.
One that I posted is from that list.

Doesnt matter where you get the rules. Good that you acknowledged it....but where are the rules? Any ways if you are compliing the rules then take your time. We are waiting for it.

I will post them in couple of days. Looks like I asked for some work for the weekend. What the heck:lol: we are here to learn from each other. anyway.
Folks read about phrases ( especially absolute phrases if you want to get most of the modifier SC questions correct ) I will post the link for this as well.
If you find any new rules then add to the list I will be posting. This will generate notification of any new rule and also help the newbies .
