Answer is E. Kids could only pick out THE ROLLING PIN and not ROLLING PINS since they only know what they came in contact with

if they have understood the use of rolling pin they would have pointed out any of those in the kitchen.

(B) No two children understood the name “rolling pin” to apply to the same object.

The stimulus says that each child picked only the one that he had used and that each father-son pair used a unique rolling pin.
