Its B..
between is used for 2 choices.. hence .. we are left with B and D.. D has a parallel error

I will go with B too:

the statements is presenting a list of actions among which a balance needs to be maintained. So use of "among" is appropriate and not "between"

A - eliminate - uses "between"
B - seems correct to me - uses among and maintains the same tense
C - eliminate - uses "between"

D - among explaining the value and workings of archaeology, the revelation of the mysteries of past and present cultures, and to promote

highlit portions above are not parallel

E - eliminate - uses "between"

I think it should be C.

I think between is the right word usage, because here the usage is between one set and the other set. Its not among three set of issues.

And C sounds good for ||ism.

What is OA?

I badly need some confidence in verbal..

Among is used to compare three or more things...

(B) maintains parallelism.

Another vote for B

Between is used to compare two things...we have three things to compare here.

C is off because it says "when promoting", thus throwing off //ism
