Agree with E here

We need "auto makers" as a subject following the modifier "In response to growing demand for high-end vehicles"... Who responded? C and E left

C has ambiguous pronoun "they" -> cars don't sell anything

ps_dahiya... good modifier problems... post some more if have! i have to get used to those as they seem kind of difficult...

Straight E.
' auto makers ' is required and E removes the ambiguity of 'they' as in C by clearly stating ' the cars '.

Clear winner E.

Only C and E have the correct modifier.

But E looks best with the removal of ambiguous "they " in C.

Has to be C or E for the correct modifier.

Only (E) clarifies what`s being sold for twice the price.

the one with best reference is E is the only one that is properly written in a simple way,... al the others change the meaning,... seems that are selling at twice as the price interiors rather then cars..... it refers to car... so correct answear is E
