(1) The least common denominator of x/y and 1/3 is 6

(2) x = 1

Given:

Stmt 1 :

LCD of x/y and 1/3 = 6
The LCD of ( y,3 ) = 6
therefore y can be 2 or 6 for LCD to be 6
Not sufficient

Stmt 2 :

X= 1 . Not suficient
