In the past six pro football drafts,4 of 6 players selected by team A are now starters on the squad.On team B,only 2 of the six players selected in the draft ae starters.So, a football player selected by team A from the draft pool has a higher probability of becoming a starter than if he is selected by team B.

Which of the following weakens the argument?
A. Two of the four starters on team A are sons of coach.
B. Team B has a new owner and coaching staff.
C. Team B has a new state-of-th-art gym.
D. Team B's pick is a quarterback, and the starting quarterback is retiring.

Whats wrong with A??...doesnt this show 'biasing' and thus weaken the argument.

yeah it does show biasing. But again you can't say for sure can you?

E is more straightforward --- If A always got the first to choose from they certainly had a wider spectrum to choose from.

This doesn't seem like a GMAT quality question though..

there is no evidence which says that because he is the son of a coach he is going to be picked. So E.
