You are most welcome to post any questions no matter whether you have a solution for it or not.

As for the problem above: if we knew the exact equation of the line K then we would be able to say whether it passes through the point (4,12). Each statement alone gives us a single point of the line K, hence we cannot get the equation needed, for example the line passing through the point (1,-7) might pass through the point (4,12) as well as NOT pass this point. When taken together we have two distinct points which define the line K thus we can say whether it passes the point (4,12) or not.

I believe this question is ambiguous. It refers to line K, but never it says it is a straight line or a curve line or anything like that. If K is indeed a straight line the answer would be C, but since we don't have that information my answer was E.

Bunuel can we say we need both A and B because we need to determine the slope. Because if three points are on the same line then slope would remain same for each with respect to any other, else the slope will differ. Is there a flaw in my logic ? _________________
