(I) Gives AD and (II) gives x

I canot find a relation ship b.w AD and other sides using this info

Thanks for your response, Damager.
Even I got the answer as E. But the OA in OG is B.

The explanation says that since angle DAB is x, using exterior angle property, angle ABD is also x. But I just can't understand how did they find angle DAB in the first place?

Can you give us the OG edition # and Problem #

Its OG11 Quantitative guide. The problem is from the DS section: either #116 or 117, I can't really remember. Right now, I don't have access to the book. Thanks
