Hi,

I started prep almost 2months back and have taken 5 tests in last 4weeks but my test scores are so inconsistent that I'm very fearful of my upcoming test in 15days.

mgmat1 - 700(week1)
Knewton free - 710(week2)
GmatPrep - 710(week3)
PowerPrep - 760(week4) - had seen 4-5 CR questions before taking test but none from SC or RC section. I can understand that seeing questions must have inflated my score by about 40marks.
mgmat4 - 670(yesterday) - Very disappointed: though, I know that I've been doing a lot of revision in last week and not doing much of practice problem has contributed to this fall but wanted to understand does this happens with others?

I mean my scores are so much corelated with practice that I had never imagined. Here is one of my previous post in which I felt huge corelation in the amount of time spent and # of questions gotten right in each verbal section.

My next step is to complete revision in 2days or so and then do a lot of practice.

Let me know what experts think on this?

Unfortunately, this kind of fluctuation happens all the time, especially at the high end. It's very hard to get to the point where you can feel *certain* that you will score above 700.

If you post more about your experience, I may be able to offer better advice. What were your score breakdowns? How was your timing? Did you have to guess on many problems? Did both your quant & verbal move around, or did one sections stay fairly consistent?

My Quant score is very consistent with either 50 or 51 marks. However, my verbal score has varied from 34(on mgmat4) to 40(PowerPrep)
I scored 2 times 37 & 1 time 36.

On mgmat4; I hurried in the end and got 9 wrong of 11 questions; didn't finish last question and had to guess last 3 questions.
