Firstly, secondary school will be irrelevant to the adcoms and by including it in your application or resume, you would be sending a signal that you don't have enough work experience to apply, which frankly will indeed be your biggest challenge. The average number of years of work experience for US schools is about 4-5 years, so your challenge will be in trying to convince them now is the most optimal time for you to go back to school. Since your GMAT is good, but below the average for top tier schools, you would be relegated to the second tier, which could limit your work opportunities in the long run. My advice is to work another couple of years and reatake the GMAT during that time so you will be more competitive for the top 50 schools in the US--you will be glad you did this in the long run.

Thank you Bryant. I get your point. Unfortunately (or fortunately) though, I've already invested quite a lot of time and effort into this and been wanting to apply this year itself. Now, I've shortlisted these colleges:

1. UCI
2. UIUC
3. Syracuse
4. Umass
5. Uni at Buffalo

Already applied to top 2. Do you think the rest of my choices go well with my profile?

Yes I believe those would be a good fit, but admittedly I am not as familiar with them as other schools. It's always best to visit in person, so try to work that out if you can swing it. Schools like it when you come see them. I think your profile would work for these. You also might consider some higher ranked schools by applying to their part time programs. PT programs are less stringent on the application requirements.

Cool. Glad to hear that. Visiting would be a little difficult since I'm an international candidate but I'm getting a lot of information from friends who are already studying there. Not too interested in PT programs though.

Could you please help me pick 2 more colleges which sorta fit my profile Bryant?
