Hi, Well this is my first post in gmat club and looking at few discussion am not sure if i should really post or not... But just like any typical Indian IT guy (I really want to drop this generalization ) i am super confused.... I was targeting Indian B schools and then many IIM come with notification, they will try exclude engineers with IT background from the pool of students they consider fit for their programs. That is when i decide to shift gears and concentrate on GMAT... I managed a 690 (q48 v36)... looking at gmatclub post it isint close to even being consider a good score... but the thought of again going trough intense preparation and worst of all those 3 and half hours in exam i dont know if it would be wise for me retake... I specifically screwed up in last half an hour of the exam and as you can see my verbal is what made sure i dont get that "7" ahead of my score.... Anyways... now that admission is at its peak and i have more or else accepted my score as it is (please suggest if that is a correct move, or should i try improvement) I need some guidance as to which Indian Institutes accept GMAT... i have sing up for ISB but am not sure if my profile currently is good enough Someone told me XLRI accepts GMAT score, do they accept them for their 2 yrs full time?? Also if someone can suggest me which colleges in US are still in my reach... Little detail about my profile Did Engineering (Electronics TeleCom) from Mumbai University (2009 passout) Got placed in TCS (this adds to typical IT male!!!!) working as system engineer since 2 yrs... I am working on an ERP system (specifically Oracle Finance and Accounts) which i hope will be valid enough reason for me to shit to business side. Beside for extra c Thanks in advance for any replies...

Hi,
I just wanted to know if Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management offers a 1yr FULL time MBA course? I could not find many details on their website and also they haven't responded to my query.
Another thing, I think even MDI, Gurgaon offers a 1yr course. What about it? Is it a good course to take up?
Thanks!
Anu

This post received KUDOS
They are actually two different programs. IIMs two year mba is mostly for freshers looking for lower level managerial roles. but most them become junior consultants/analysts..
