With this low GMAT score would it make sense to apply to b-schools like Sloan, Ross, Columbia, Kenan Flagler, Duke, UCLA (Anderson) or am I being too ambitious? Please advice.
Hello there,
Well, with a 550, I'm afraid that these schools (and actually most worthy schools) are out of range for you. But since you do have a good base profile - female, from PwC with good NGO work, the main thing you need to do is to get a great GMAT. for the schools you mentioned above, a 700+ is pretty necessary. I know its a long distance from where you are now, but with time and work it is an obstacle that is possible to overcome, and also the best course of action for you.
So take your time.. study hard. Since you have a full year ahead of you.
And best of luck!
