Indian students - % based grades [#permalink] New post 07 Sep 2008, 19:08
How do i convert my % based grades from my bachelor degree to CGPA for Columbia application? I am from University of Roorkeee, 1995 (now called IIT roorkee). When i took my degree, the univ was still following % based marks.

Is it fine to just write the % marks in the application and leave it for CBS to interpret that? Still there are many places where just a CGPA needs to be mentioned, such as self reported information in GMAT score sheet. How do i enter that value?

regards,
Nischal

IMO - you should write to the MBA Admission of CBS, they'll help you convert the score.
Note : Different universities have different ways to calculate GPA.

So, its better to check with the universities before applying.
