Which of the following number ranges always solves this inequality:
z┬▓ - 4z > 5

A) z > -5

B) z < 5

C) z > -1

D) z < 1

E) z < -1

z┬▓ - 4z > 5

A) z > -5

B) z < 5

C) z > -1

D) z < 1

E) z < -1

Look at the second term it is -ve so anything -ve multiplied to it will produce +ve number no matter how small the z^2 term is, for E the largest value is -2, -3, -3 sp lets test -2, 4 + 8 = 12 > 5
