Thanks guys. I've been accepted at Fonty. Got a call from Stefanie Hanny this afternoon (3:00 PM IST) giving me the news :D
I'm supposed to start at Fonty (hadn't specified a campus in my application so they picked one)
MBAFella - I was upfront with INSEAD about my other b-school and told them 10 days back to expedite the decision. They were really great and also asked me to request the other school for some extension. The second school I asked for more time citing financial expenses as the reason (and it was true - the shorter course solves the problem!)

I think you were lucky that INSEAD accommodated your situation. I think most other schools would've said you need to wait like the rest of the applicants. Other than your GMAT scores on your profile, what is the rest of your profile like, e.g. undergrad major and what kind of int'l work experience do you have? Cheers.

I'm from India - top-tier college with bachelors in commerce (honors). 3.5 years at a top-tier consulting firm + 4 months of startup experience. A year of cumulative international experience - personal and professional.

Congrats Vrindasingh! I'm also waiting the final notification! I submitted my application on April 11 (R1 last day!) and got the interview notification on May 19. It looks like I'll have to wait a few more days...

I applied for R2 two days ago but still did not receive the notification e-mail saying "your application is OK and you are in for R2" ... Should I be worried or it takes some time for them to send it?

Hello people! So I received my login details to the INSEAD intranet today - and there's just 2 more people on for the '13D batch so far and they appear to be deferrals. So everyone can keep their hopes up. Adcom not telling me anything  Can I do anything else to help?

So no calls yet this week! Was hoping that they make a couple of calls before they shut shop for the weekend.
Monday or Tuesday should see the roll call going out. Was looking at my mobile every ten minutes for a possible missed call this evening. Time to relax the next two days I guess and start worrying from monday.

Just remembered...enjoy the damn weekend!!!!!! I got an all you drink party to go to tomorrow (gotta love Japan!) You can actually pay $30 here and drink as much as you can in 2 hours. It's like a dare. Show me a western country that has that!
