INSEAD full time MBA or EMBA? [#permalink] New post 02 Aug 2007, 14:31
Hi everyone,

I am trying to decide between the INSEAD EMBA and full time MBA program. Both programs are similar in length (14 months for EMBA, 12 months (i think) for full time MBA).

Cost is a little more expensive for EMBA but I could do the EMBA without leaving work for a year.

I have been going back and forth on this decision because since the program is only 1 year, I could probably manage to leave work and home for a year. However, if I had the choice, I would rather not leave my family (have wife + kid) for a year.

Is one program any "easier" to get into?

For those of you who didn't read my post in the other forum, I am 34/M/Asian educated in the US (UC Berkeley Computer Science), working for 11 years as an enterpreuneur and executive in the software industry here in the US. My undergrad GPA was low (in the low 2s) but my GMAT is hopefully going to be pretty good (700+)...test is 9/15.
