INSEAD 2012 - Calling All Applicants

Just completed my interviews.. and.. the wait resumes.. >.<

The interviews are just what is described in the forums. Both of my interviewers covered:
1. Background, strengths, weaknesses, typical interview questions
2. Why do an MBA
3. Why INSEAD
4. International exposure
5. How can you contribute to the MBA experience
6. Some general knowledge questions on the world's economy

I have no more adrenaline pumping activities planned for the rest of the year to take the edge off waiting..
3 more weeks in anticipation of the appearance of the +33!

I finished with my interviews (all the usual questions), I was more compatible with my second interviewer so I think it went a lot better than the first which nontheless did not go that bad either.

I guess, it has a lot to do with the interviewer and his personality but in any case you do what you have to do and even if it doesnt go amazingly well it should at least be ok if you are a bit prepared.

Now the wait for the final decision begins. I will try to focus on other very important things like funding and before I manage to get that sorted I will hopefully get that +33 phonecall.

can someone post the latest MBA connect numbers for Indians and when is the deadline for depositing the initial deposit for people admitted in 2nd deadline?

Has anyone gotten Protigy financing? Was it easy???

Is anyone else experiencing challenges with filling in the electronic forms for the scholarship applications?
I keep getting a session timeout when I try to save my progress and I do so at rather short intervals..

I did notice that there were 490 a couple of days ago, so the count has gone down a bit. I am not sure why yet. Either because people have declined the admit, or INSEAD is doing the clean up.

Surely it's a week early for that?

Hey guys, finished off with my 2nd interview today and it was a disaster ! The interviewer came 1 hour late after postponing the interview 2 times and not showing up the first time and he clearly had not read my INSEAD application and CV. Luckily i was carrying a copy of my CV which i presented to him.

Well the interview lasted just over 2 hours. I am a guy who has worked as a navigator on merchant ship for most of my career and then switched to a shipping/logistics role last year with a trading company.

Well the interviewer went through my CV and then started asking question

1.) Give me your career progression till date.
2.) Tell me about yourself as in where you grew up and what environment.
3.) Achievements during sailing on merchant ships.
4.) Why INSEAD
5.) Why MBA
6.) Current Job description.

Then the game began :

He started giving me financial situations as in
1.) If i invest 5 million $ in your company then what is the ROI ?
2.) How do you think your company can increase its revenue ?
3.) Then he gave me a situation where in he gave me tons of numbers and asked to calculate the profit after taxes and utility charges. He asked me to take a pen and paper and actually calculate and show to him.( Now i have never been in any sort of a financial role but can ship any cargo from any where in the world or navigate any ship through pirate infested water but finance NO ! I told him this but he kept pushing for an answer. )
4.) Then he asked me my post MBA goals and then asked me the ROI in the industry that i want to work in post my MBA - Marine Chartering/Ship broking.

All in all it was a nightmare. For a guy who has difficulty reading his company's quarterly financial results this was quite a handful.

Well my hopes are now down the drain !!!

The adcom starts sending decisions 2 weeks before the deadline although very few in the beginning with most being send during the last three days.
