That's super interesting.

What happens if you get a 'strongly recommend'/'recommend' from one interviewer but a 'neither' from the second?

Hi guys,

I am new on this forum - also a R2 applicant.

Last week I completed both interviews. I believe both of them went quite well. The usual questions on why MBA, why INSEAD, other schools, financing MBA, my hobbies, expectations of INSEAD. Both interviewers were informal and friendly - I even felt overdressed wearing a suite.

Besides, I want to share something that most of you might find helpful. An acquaintance of mine, a graduate of INSEAD, recently completed an interview with a candidate and shared with me how he was instructed to do the interviews. Basically, the interviewers are provided with a set of open questions - motivation for MBA, international experience, career progression and similar stuff. Then, it is up to them to decide how they ask those questions - because they will have to fill in the form. So, no bad/good cop scenarios and similar stuff. I am also surprised seeing in the forum interview reports that say no 3 whys! At the end of the form, the interviewers have to select one of the options: strongly recommend, recommend, neither, do not recommend.

Another thing that one of my interviewers told me - they are not allowed to give feedback to candidates.

Alright, good luck to all of you! I hope to meet many of you at INSEAD.

That's the official figure for the percentage of total admit allocated in each of the 3 round

Hello Joey88, did you do anything between receiving your waitlist confirmation and your final admission? Did you contact the admission office, or sent in an extra recommendation letter, or something like that?

Congrats Joey88! I am also wondering: who was your coordinator? Did you receive a phone call or email? What is your nationality, educational and professional background?

Hi Guys my coordinator is HS but since she's on leave I got a call from Virginie. The only thing I brought to the attention of the admissions was I had received admission into HEC Paris and I was to start next week , so asked them if they could make a decision asap . Im indian 25 years and have worked for 4 years in the fragrance industry.
