Anyone other than Australians hear from any AO?

Why do I get the feeling that they are doing it according to the nationality in an alphabetical order! ..

I hope this wait ends on a good note for everyone..

They are probably doing it according to GMT+/- starting with Aussies and making a full swing across the world. I'm on the other side... If I don't get a notification in the next 1-2 hours then it's going to be another day of waiting.

We just never know!

An Australian based in Singapore got the call. So did another based in Caledonia.

Not sure how this is working :( I guess one should try and focus on other things.

So sorry to hear that! I thought they would send emails to waitlisted and dinged folks only on Friday. Where are you based? Who is your AO?

There are other great programs out there, US application season has just started and deadlines are about 2 months away, don't make the same mistake I made and wait an entire year deciding whether to apply to a different school or not. Just take a shot at it and decide later, it's always better to have options. Good luck on the future!

I guess JS is the only one on fire today... Maybe there's only one phone and the other AO's are all waiting in line for their turn to use it and call their list of admitted people. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

INSEAD is the only school I applied to as well. What are the chances now? And how do we know which number we sit on the waitlist?

Seems logical, and definitely happened with US schools although they tried to notify people on the same day so had a lot more time pressure. Also, I think each AO at INSEAD may cover specific regions - for example I think most VM candidates are European / based in Europe. As geographic diversity and cultural mix is important there will be certain regions where the decision making might be easier due to a lower volume of candidates etc. Other regions may have a very high volume of candidates which makes final selection much harder and therefore might run right up to the wire.

I just got the call from someone on behalf of AN (I didn't catch the name, unfortuantely). Admitted - what a wonderful piece of news, music in my ears!

For information, I am based in Switzerland and it is now 17:10 (CET, Central European Time). So it looks like they are still working the phones in Fontainebleau.

Now I am off, break open that champagne with my wife :-)

Congrats!! Where are you starting??

So, JS and someone on behalf of AN with good news, VM with bad news via email. The only reason I'm not freaking out is because no one has reported news from my AO or from my region. I guess there's still time since it's the middle of the day here, but my guess is I'll hear no news today.
