Hi humblewinner,

I've written on my very own INSEAD interview(s) experiences, and added a whole post on interview tips with a pdf attached there containing all the possible interview questions I had culled from the internet and other sources. It's available for download from my blog site. Unfortunately, I can't attach it here, since I just joined and need to rake up some more posts before I can attach them. You can visit:
"insideinsead DOT wordpress DOT com" to read the full details there and download the pdf.

Hope this helps!

Thank you very much!! I will check your blog..

Hello OMJ,

Thank you for volunteering. Now that I have submitted my R1 app, how can I start preparing for an interview (I hope I do get a call!). Any tips and areas I should be prepared. Thanks.

It's quite frustrating that I can't post links for 5 days. Anyhow, if you navigate to the INSEAD category, and scroll down to the post titled "INSEAD Interviews FAQ" (5th post from the top), you'll find it in the 4th FAQ.

A couple of questions:

Does anyone has a template for the letters of recomendation or one should create then on the go?

Do you(those who are not from the USA) calculate your GPA. I here in russia have a 1-5 poit system, should I also calculate the GPA or no. How did you do the transcripts of records?

Most of the schools have their own forms with their own questions for letters of recommendation so I don't think a 'template' as such works. The people who did my recommendation did say that cut and reapply parts though so all I ask them to do is just make sure they have a copy of their first one to hand so that can just adjust accordingly.

On GPA - I did not calculate for them - just provided my grade from the UK as per my transcript. I think they are experience enough and can work that out on what that translates into GPA roughly.

@OMJ,

Thanks a lot for sharing your blog, INSEAD interview experiences and the pdf. All of them are very useful resources.

I have another question- Does INSEAD send all interview calls in one day or as and when the application review is complete?

Thanks

INSEAD does not work on rolling basis. They will start reviewing all applications after the submission deadline for that round. INSEAD has traditionally released a few interview invites earlier (like 2 weeks before the interview notification deadline). However, 99% of the invites are extended in the last 2 days. And, the interview invite is always by e-mail and not by phone.
